Ever wondered about the history of many of Strathfield’s great historic buildings? Who owned them? Why were they built? Why have some survived and others are now gone? These questions or more will be answered at a lecture given by Cathy Jones on Saturday 1 May at Strathfield Library, Rochester Street Homebush starting at 1pm. The talk will include a presentation of surviving historic photographs and maps of the great mansions of Strathfield and followed by serving of afternoon tea.
This is a free event and all are welcome to attend.
