Strathfield Council Chambers Historical plaque

A number of historic plaques have been installed in places of historical significance in Strathfield.

Historical Plaques provide information on the significance of historical sites and encourage interest by the community in Strathfield’s history.

The plaques are located at:
  • Strathfield Council Chambers, 65 Homebush Road Strathfield
  • Homebush Road (westside between Victoria Road and Albyn Road) commenorating the former site of ‘Seven Oaks Farm’.
  • Cotswold Road Strathfield commenorating the site of the former home ‘Fairholm’, one of Strathfield’s oldest homes.
  • Strathfield Avenue Strathfield commenorating the site of the former “Strathfield House”.    
  • 24 Homebush Road Strathfield outside the home ‘Verani’ – a rare Victorian Terrace in Strathfield.
